Zoo Recount

Zoo Recount

On a sunny great cloudy day we went to the Auckland zoo. First we saw some Red panthers and there were only two there and they were up the tree.  After we went to Australia and I saw some Tasmainian devil but they weren't there but they look like rat’s and we saw the otters on the basket but it was poking its head out and it was funny.

 Next we went to South America we saw Tarantula and spider monkeys they had some baby they have  a lot of family’s next we went to the turtles and they are really really big and fat .

 Then we went to eat morning tea and in my group was Paul Tuku Daveon Wairaka and Me then we went to the kiwi’s a there was only two then I saw some else and some alligators but they were green but I couldn't see them.

 Then we went to the Baboons with Hohepa and they but is pink but it is so hard and we were laughing at it but there were only two there the same as ever animal then we went to the Cheetah there was only two of them but the two brother’s was at Christchurch and then we went to the elephant they name was called Burma and Anjalie but Burma is 36 years old but Anjalie is 12 years old but it is up to 80 or 70 and they told us the hast about it and it is made of glass and it was so heavy and they told us about the bark that they put on it so that it can protect him from the sun so they can’t get burnt from the sun.

Finally Hohepa went and we had to see the lion and there were only two and I think there were brothers because the mum has no hair after we went to the Meercats there were lots of them and there was a huge they are called Porcupine there were inside the car they had spikes on them. I learnt about the giraffe they are really really tall and the zebra they have different stripes on them.

Space Art

I drew a picture of a moon and I also drew different tips of circle in the moon. Then I shaded the little circle using my fingers. When my moon was done I used dye to colour the coffee fitters, I used hot and cold colours. Then I used big, small and medium circles to cut out circles from the coffee fitters. When all of that was done my teacher cut out a black cupboard paper and then we splashed white paint all over the black cupboard paper to make stars. Then we glued all of the circles and the moon on the black cardboard paper.

4 Space Learning Centre

Today we wrote about 4 space learning centre and I did about Buzz Aldrin he was born on 20 January and he is 89 years old.

Rhythm Interactive

The show we went to today was called Rhythm Interactive. There was a man called Johnny. We learned about drumming and and song to the rhythm and it was fun there. Next we had to clap to the song on the speaker. Then we sang I like chocolate cake and we had to do it on our drum but it was hard to copy the rhythm of it and it was the best day ever when Johnny came to us, he even gave us some drums that he let us keep.

LS1 blogs

Today we did commenting to LS1 and we had to proofread it and I chose Taua and he was playing piano with his class and  I hoop he have fun next time and I like the way that you are excited and you are having fun and laughing and I like that Taua and I like the way you have ear Phones. s

Holiday

Last Saturday I went to the MMT game with my anty and cosins and it was fun but the score was 34 to 14 but at lees we tried but it was a good game there.,

At the zoo we saw Spider monkeys My favourite animal was the elephant because it is so big.

Hiwi the Kiwi

Today we had a special day because Hiwi the kiwi came to our school to tech us about fishing and staying safe and you have to ray your life jacket because when you go in the boat and you fall you go up and down in the sea and when you go fishing you need a rule so you can measurement the fish and I had to hold it and we had to go with 30 next I went to my teacher Mrs Kirkpatrick so I could give her my sticker because I said the answer and he said what's your name and I said Viliami and he said is it Viliami the army.After David went to the stage and he pertained to ray the life jacket and then he had to go up and down like he's in the sea but he is,int then he got the sticker and bring it to to our teacher that is lovey to us. Then we had to stand up and dance and it was fun and I was laughing and so the others.




I learnt about when I went to the stage and I got a sticker and I was happy and that was the best day ever.
