Print Design Rules

L.I To Identify the four areas of print design.

The print design rules are things that make your DLO more better and neat. The four print design rules are composition, layout, colour, and text. As a group we had to go on different posters and write down things that are good and things that are bad.





RULE IDEAS: 
Composition:
  • Have a balance of pictures and sentences 
Layout:
  • Have margins 
Text: 
  • You have to make sure your size of the font is clear to read.

Color: 8’t have a dark background if you are using a dark font 

Composition :
Use Images that relate to the text
Have a Balance of pictures and sentences
Layout:
Have Margins and align text and images
Use most of the space
Colour
Don’t use clashing colours use a harmonic colour scheme
Use contrasting backgrounds and Foreground colors
Text
Make sure the text is legible
Keep consistent fonts and sizes
