This week is the Manaiakalani SLJ Teaser Week. The theme for this year is called "change makers". This theme will help us learn more about incredible people who have changed the world. Today I listend to Daivd Walliams, a famous British actor, who was reading a short from the BFG.The programme runs over for six weeks (starts 16 December and finished Friday 24 January 2020).

I really love your description of the BFG. I like the way that you describe that he may look “disgustingly horrible” but on the inside is very “compassionate and sympathetic”. It is just like how we are told to never judge a book by its cover :). Have you read the BFG or any of Roald Dahl’s other books? I read George’s Marvellous Medicine to my Y2 class this year and they loved it (and so did I).
I really hope that you continue to blog with us over the summer. We are all looking forward to reading your work! We cannot wait to see what you post about next.
